User Account Information
As a registered user, your past BLAST, ClustalW, and HMMER jobs will be saved and viewable on your user page if you are logged in; the preferred options for these tools can be saved too. The same user and password credentials can be used to login to Galaxy, a web-based platform for data intensive research. A second (independent) registration is needed to login to Apollo, a manual gene annotation editor. With this new version of Apollo, you will get access to all VectorBase genomes listed in the table below.

You have two options:

    • Follow this link and utilize the "Gene Information Capture" form
    • If you are submitting in batch, e.g., when you are annotating a gene family, please follow our FAQ page here.
Note: If manually annotating genes and already utilizing Apollo or if submitting only metadata and no gene model changes, do not use the "Information Editor" within Apollo to add metadata.
