Take a tour of the VectorBase interface, including navigation, search, and where to go for help. To help you get acclimated with the site, here are some highlights:

  • All of the content in the site is present through tab-driven navigation system.
  • The site has powerful search box located in the upper right corner of all VectorBase pages. All queries can be filtered by domain (e.g. genome, ontology, transcriptome) and species (e.g. Aedes aegypti). Further filtering is also available at the subdomain level.
  • We have an organisms page
  • and also individual species pages (e.g. Anopheles gambiae organism page).
  • The tools are periodically improved based on user feedback.
  • Check the Help and Community tabs, these pages contain information that may help you understand and navigate VectorBase better.
