Transcript data and resources for microarrays and RNAseq

VectorBase currently host microarrays and RNAseq mostly from Anopheles gambiae and Aedes aegypti, but there is also RNAseq data for other species. With the tutorials below learn how to:

  • Query and interpret microarrays and RNAseq in the Expression tool (video tutorial -part 1).
  • Browse RNAseq data resources and undertand of how to search and display the data in the Genome Browser and Apollo (pdf tutorial -part 2).
  • There is not a tutorial available for this capability, but we also provide access to annotated, assembled EST and/or RNA transcript sequences. These datasets can be queried from Search and BLAST. The keywords for Search are InterPro IDs (e.g., IPR002067). In BLAST select the "Assembled transcriptomes" data set(s) to run a job.
